IT was doughnuts all round for the Token team when news reached us that COIN NEWS and its writers had picked up no less than three prestigious awards at the recent Numismatic Literary Guild ceremony in Chicago—including the coveted Best Issue for an international magazine which was awarded for our July 2013 edition. Other international awards included best Coin Article for Edward Colgan’s “What Better Symbols —the Designing of a Nation’s Coinage” (August 2013) and best Paper Money Article went to Dr Kerry Rodgers for “The Issues of Armée Catholique et Royale” (October 2013)—well done team!
