Just as we sell out of our "Standard Catalogue of the Provincial Banknotes of England and Wales" so the latest in a modern line of "provincial notes" comes into being. The Bristol pound comes hard on the heels of the Totnes Pound and the Stroud currency and promises to be the biggest such local experiment so far.
