Fair Update

Posted on Tue, 15 June 2021 by Phil Mussell - General News, Coin News

We have just received this message from the organisers of the London, Midland and York Coin Fairs.

"Further to the Government's decision to delay the removal of Covid 19 restrictions, we have spoken to the venues and can now confirm that both the London Coin Fair on the 3rd July, and the Midland Coin Fair on the 11th, WILL go ahead as planned.

The London Coin Fair
We will have to observe a 1 metre 'social distancing'  and wear face masks or visors but otherwise, the layout can be as usual. Hand sanitiser will be placed around the venue. We will have to ask you to help by asking people not to crowd around tables and our security team will also help with this.
The Holiday Inn was happy that none of this would impact greatly on our usual arrangements.

The Midland Coin Fair
We have had confirmation that the Motorcycle Museum will be opening it will also be subject to the same fairly relaxed restrictions as London.

To date we have not had confirmation that the York Coin Fair will go ahead on the 16th/17th July but I will send another update when we know.

We genuinely feel that these restrictions will not have a detrimental effect on the fairs, and will do everything we can to make sure it's still an enjoyable day for everyone."
