So apparently the Bank of England has "lost track" of £50bn of banknotes - the press spin on this seems to be that it's all in the hands of crime lords and drug traffickers. Is this really the case or is it just the latest in the "drip drip" of anti-cash stories designed to hasten the demise of our coins and notes?
