Coin Fair Cancellations

Posted on Wed, 25 March 2020 by Phil Mussell - General News, Coin News

As was perhaps inevitable the coin fairs are bearing the brunt of the Government's measures as far as numismatics are concerned. We can still collect, auctions can go online but sadly you can't have a Coin Fair without mixing with people.

The latest shows to announce that they are cancelling because of the Coronavirus outbreak are:

Bloomsbury: With the April 4 and May 2 shows both off. The next fair at the venue is July 2

Harrogate: This popular annual show had been moved to April 17-18 but that, sadly, put it right in the virus measures' firing line. It is cancelled this year but will be back at the Old Swan hotel next year on April 23-24!

London Coin Fair: although this one wasn't scheduled until June 6 and we REALLY hope this will all be done by then the hotel has insisted that the organisers cancel. The next show will take place in September.

Wakefield: Eddie made the decision last week to cancel his April and May shows. He's hoping to be back at the end of June.
