A fine tradition

A Corporal from the 1st Gurkha Rifles has been awarded the Conspicuous Gallantry Cross for his gallant defence of his post in Afghanistan. In the best traditions of Gurkha soldiering Cpl Dipprasad Pun manged to fight off over a dozen Taliban insurgents - even resorting to using his machine gun tripod when his ammunition ran out!
